   Frist things first. Always look presentable. You don’t have to go all out necessarily but looking like a hobo is not good. I’m sure this place will use a dress code so be prepared. Being courteous is next. You will probably shake hands when you meet and leave. Speak your words clearly and try not to use too much slang. I personally would refrain from asking personal questions unless of course you know the person. Learning the clubs is also a must. Sure they have numbers and letters on them but it helps in the long run. People may have clubs in the bag you may have never heard of (lob wedge, 2 iron [yes there is a 2 iron], among others). And if you don’t know the answer to a question, then tell them. It all comes with expereince. You will start to learn some of the regulars by name and learn a lot about golf in itself.

   Sweet man that sounds awesome. If i were you i would just use proper golf ettiquit (sp) and just answer ?’s to the best of your knowledge. NEVER try to give these guys tips unless otherwise asked, they dont care they are rich. When you are on the tees give them a lay down of where you want to be and dont want to be off your shot, even on fairway shots. Help them read greens but do not offer your advice unless he says “what do you think?” or something like that. The best thing you could do is just have fun and smile a lot and be nice, you will see.

   First of all it helps tremendously if you play, and play well. If not, you will need to keep quiet in the beginning and focus on providing service more than advice. Never stand in the line of the shot (in front of or directly behind) of the golfer. Wipe down the club after every shot. Have the putter handy when you approach the green. Watch the ball closely off the tee so you can find the ball easily. Once you learn the game and the course you caddy on, you can provide insight to the golfer; like distance from the flag, breaks in the green etc.
