I read today in the new Swedish Golf Digest, when one of all time greatest golfers: ‘The Black Knight’ Gary Player says: The best golf swing had Ben Hogan! (he also says, perhaps the best putting golfer T. Woods). So I just have to look, man!

El golf no es deporte, el golf es Ocio y una completa porqueria para vagos parásitos humanos, sin oficio ni beneficio, buenos para nada. Son tan flojos que ni caminan estas porquerias golfistas, necesitan de un carrito para ir a la otra cancha de golf. Mas deporte seran los video juegos que esa porqueria del golf.

Ok I am going to buy the book. I am fed up looking at so many youtube clicks on how to swing it. Info overload. I would read the bible then. I was going to get Jim Mcleans 8 steps but i would leave that till i have digested Hogans.
No hype, just solid fundmentals. Your grip, setup (foot postions, stance and balance), elbow positions, proper hip first rotation on downswing, etc. are all covered. You have to be able to duplictate this EXACTLY ever single time for consistant ball striking. The details for everything with the exception of the right hip position during the transition from the backswing to the start of the swing is in the book. The right hip stays back (sets) when the left hip rotates left until ball is hit.
I haven’t read the book yet. Is it really as good as man people say? I dont like hype
