On of the most common problems with mishits is when you try to chase the ball with your eyes. Focus on the ball until it is gone!! Then you can look up to see where it went. Also, it is advantageous to make a controlled deliberately smooth backswing…take it back slowly, that allows your body to coil and it allows you to stay balanced and under control!!
