As a gunner fan i am quite anxious for the start of the season. I am also very nervous since this off season has not been the greatest. I am very displeased with the management and how they have faired in the transfer window of the summer time. Losing Henry was a big blow and Ljungberg is in constant talks with both Fiorentina and Manchester City. Also arsenal have lost other players and have gotten little in return. Wenger has barely done anything while Furguseon goes 4 world class players and Wenger has done nothing and is caught with his pants down. What do Arsenal need to do as a Club to return is to its Glory Days? I know the answer is not fire Wenger, but they do need to bring major changes to the Club.
yes i recently learned that sagna just signed…he has made a few caps with france national team but i would like to see more EXPERIENCE!!

Don’t write them off. As a loyal Spurs fan, i have had to sit through and endure season upon season of people writing Arsenal off, only for them to do better than the previous season. Yes, you’ve lost Henry but you’ve gained Eduardo who is a quality signing. And i mean look at when Vieira left – you replaced him with fabregas!!!! One of the best central midfielders in Europe!!! And yesterday as well, you signed sagna (i think thats his name!). He is a quality player. It’s all very well saying that Man U have gone out and got four top quality players, but Man U have the money to do so!! with arsenal, wenger does what he can with very limited resources and still gets them in the top 4 each season.

i know…im shitting my self for this new season.but what can us fans do?its our money that getting paid for thse youngsters coming in.i just dont see wenger trying very hard….becouse this mite just be his last season. if wenger wants to go,go now i would say. we are getting compard to tottenham this season…..2 seasons ago,we would be compard with real madrid & man utd…i just fear the worst,but im sure wenger know’s what he’s doing. malouda,alves,pizzaro.

I agree. Wenger has a gift for plucking young talent off the tree, but with losing Bergkamp and then Henry they’ve lost the experienced players.
We’ll see I guess. I never rule the gunners out though. This is an opportunity for the younger players to step up and fill those roles. Who knows – maybe they’ll do just fine without the older guys.
Ya i totally agree…Henry is irreplaceable…But many people say his best days are behind him but his leadership that he brought to Arsenal is invaluable…Ya I was kind of hoping Ribery would go to Arsenal but unfortunately he didnt…They can bring Vela to Arsenal who should help out at top…They do have one of the better midfielders in the game (cesc) but they need much more than that…They have also signed Eduardo da Silva , Håvard Nordtveit, Bacary Sagna who according to Wenger are young hot prospects but we will see what happens..
